Join our RoboticGen Academy team in this learning opportunity to gain hands-on experience in educational operations. As an Academy Operations Intern, you'll support the creation of an optimal learning environment for our students while developing skills in educational management. This internship is ideal for recent graduates or final-year students in education, science, mathematics, or ICT.
Responsibilities
Makerspace Operations:
- Ensure smooth operation of our makerspace located in Colombo.
- Manage workshops, team challenges, and special events.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents while effectively communicating our learning experience.
- Manage attendance and coordinate check-in/check-out procedures for students, parents, and mentors.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all makerspace participants.
- Inventory management that’s used for challenges, workshops and hardware kits logistics arrangement.
Mentoring Basecamp Operations:
- Create and manage weekly mentoring schedules with parent communication.
- Host online and physical mentoring sessions.
- Support students with technical and learning difficulties to ensure effective learning.
- Handle course management on our learning management system
Student Success:
- Prepare monthly student reports.
- Conduct parent meetings to discuss progress.
- Maintain seamless communication through internal channels with both the RGen Team and Academy clients (students/parents).
Payments Handling:
- Process and track payments from parents in a timely manner.
